Eagles Youth Cheerleading

Mini Cheerleaders: 1st & 2nd graders (if age 5, must be entering 1st grade and no older than 8 by 12/31 of current year)

Micro Cheerleaders: 3rd & 4th graders (must not have achieved their 12th birthday by 12/31 of current year)

Junior Cheerleaders: 5th & 6th graders (must not have achieved their 14th birthday by 12/31 of current year)

Senior Cheerleaders: 7th & 8th graders (must not have achieved their 15th birthday by 12/31 of current year)

Registration opening in April!

The season begins the end of July and typically runs into November depending on playoff eligibility and competition schedule.

Games are Sundays or Saturdays. Competition is held at the end of the season.

We are part of the Southern New England Youth Football Conference. Our program is open to members of

Tolland, Mansfield, Coventry, Willington, Stafford, Ashford

Other towns may be eligible if they are not part of SNEYFC.

Cheer practices typically begin the end of July:

• Practice is at Tolland Middle School
• Mini cheer starts at 2-3 days per week then reduces to 2 once school starts
• Micro, Juniors, Seniors Cheer starts at 3-4 days then reduces to 3 once school starts

The cost for the cheer season is $205 plus a refundable equipment and volunteer deposit.

TYFC provides:

• Uniform top, bottom, boy-shorts, and socks
• Game day bow
• October bow

Parents provide:

• Sneakers
• Leggings
• Competition bow (to be determined by the coach)
